The partnership expands autonomous delivery on the Grubhub marketplace in Chicago, Los Angeles and Alexandria, including Wonder's Potomac Yard location

At Wonder, we're always looking for new ways to make great food more accessible and delivery more convenient. Today, we're excited to announce a partnership with Serve Robotics Inc., a leading autonomous sidewalk delivery company, to bring robot delivery to the Grubhub marketplace in Chicago, Los Angeles and Alexandria. This launch marks our first collaboration with Serve, introduces autonomous delivery to Grubhub customers in these markets and represents an exciting step toward bringing this technology to more neighborhoods.
This partnership builds on the momentum of autonomous delivery programs across our ecosystem and reflects our broader commitment to creating innovative delivery experiences for customers. As restaurants increasingly look for faster and more efficient delivery solutions, robot delivery offers a seamless way to streamline pickups and improve efficiency during busy periods.
"A year ago, our robots were delivering dinner in a handful of neighborhoods. Today they serve three of the country's largest delivery platforms, they're rolling into new cities from San Jose to the nation's capital and their hospital cousins are showing up in health systems across the country," said Ali Kashani, Co-Founder and CEO of Serve Robotics. "Welcoming Wonder and Grubhub to our network is the clearest signal yet of where we are headed. Every new partner puts more robots to work and every delivery makes the whole fleet smarter."
"At Wonder, we're constantly looking for ways to make the customer experience more convenient and reliable," said PJ Poykayil, EVP of Customer Delivery Operations at Wonder. "Our partnership with Serve brings autonomous delivery to Grubhub customers in Chicago, Los Angeles and Alexandria while also enabling robot delivery from our Potomac Yard location in Alexandria. As we continue to grow, partnerships like this help us expand delivery options, improve efficiency and create a more seamless mealtime experience."
Through the partnership, eligible customers ordering from participating restaurants on Grubhub may be matched with a Serve robot for delivery based on their location. The experience is designed to integrate seamlessly into the Grubhub platform, so customers can enjoy the same familiar ordering process they already know. Robot delivery will be available from more than 100 participating merchants in Chicago and nearly 200 in Los Angeles, with additional restaurants expected to join the program over time.
As part of the partnership, our Potomac Yard location in Alexandria will also offer robot delivery through Serve's autonomous network, giving customers another flexible and convenient way to enjoy meals from our 25+ restaurant concepts. Potomac Yard is our first location in Virginia and the first Wonder location outside New Jersey to offer robot delivery, marking an important milestone in the expansion of this technology.
Today, Grubhub and Serve are also introducing Chomp, a hamburger-wrapped delivery robot with a personality all its own. Designed to bring a little fun to the delivery experience, Chomp will appear across Grubhub's social channels and select customer touchpoints, including surprise-and-delight moments like gift cards and swag drops. Chomp is the first character to debut through Serve Advertising’s new product, Characters, which gives brand partners the ability to create unique visual identities and conversational AI personalities for their delivery robots.

As we continue finding new ways to make great food more accessible, partnerships like this help us deliver on that mission. We're excited to expand autonomous delivery to more customers, create greater convenience for restaurants and diners alike and continue building the future of food delivery.
